Very relaxing practice... but I don't use a bed. I sleep on the floor, but this is still relaxing. Love that frog pose. 😉 Your pup is so cute... reminds me of my own Pomeranian. He does all the same things. Animals are kings of yoga!
How long have u been on the floor if u don’t mind my asking.. and has ur body changed since floor sleeping ?
@@fearlesssacredfool I've been sleeping on the floor regularly for over a year now... I use a 3" latex foam topper and a sleeping bag, right on the floor. My big motivator for this is the "use it or lose it" concept... I love camping, which requires sleeping on the ground, right? I also have back problems- degenerative disk disease, and other wonderful spinal maladies. I found that when I slept on a regular bed, my back pain was worse, and I couldn't sleep on the ground (ie, camping). Now I do Dr. Stuart McGill's "big three" exercises for spinal stability, and I sleep on the floor. I love it! My back feels better than it did 10 years ago, and I'm 50. I will probably never sleep on a traditional bed again.

You have the warrior spirit Cathy... I have first hand experience with spinal injury and other chronic debilitating conditions... I would say, you don't need to the "abracadabra". Do the simple, the basics and you will come far. But the battle for viewers is tough so you have to get out of your way to get attention!

This is a really good session, and if you don't do any exercises, you can include this in your routine. However, I'm not sure if you will be able to learn a handstand with this one. I have helped many to learn handstand in person. It's possible that one routine that worked for someone else will not also work for you, especially if you have never done anything close to a handstand like a headstand or forearm stand (scorpion pose). I recommend learning those before attempting the handstand. After that, you can take wall assistance. But for some reason, if you're not able to hold your handstand, then try this trick: Go to your standard forearm stand and make sure your head is not touching the ground. Use pillows and a mattress for safety. Now slowly pull your one hand to and place it on your hand palm against the ground and try to hold it for 20-30 seconds, and now go back to forearm pose again, and repeat the same thing with the other hand. After a few weeks, you should be able to transition your forearm stand to a handstand.

When I stretched my leg straight like at 1:56 I experienced a pinching pain on the outer knee area. Any idea what that could be?
